When people hear about life coaching they sometimes think; that sounds simple, I could do that for myself, or I could have those conversations with my best friend, sister, brother, mother etc.

Unlike any of the day-to-day conversations you have with friends and family, coaching is a conversation dedicated to you. It is focused solely on your needs, desires and hopes for the future. It is an objective, targeted regular check-in with yourself. Friends and family may have the best will in the world, but more often than not their views are clouded by their own needs and desires and they tell you what you should do, instead of working with you objectively to figure out what it is you want.

Following at least four sessions with a life coach you will have:

  • A greater insight on what you really want from life
  • Personal goals to help you create the life you want
  • Greater awareness of your behaviour and responses to situations
  • The support of someone committed to motivating you
  • Overall, a better sense of well-being and life balance
